Last week was record-breaking for mileage–51 miles. Sobering, though, to think that’s still 25 miles short of a typical week of our (slow) C2C, and half of what most people do. Still, I’m confident I’m heading into this with ample preparation.
On Saturday, D & I tackled the Oyster Dome just south of Bellingham. It was a gloriously sunny day everywhere except the Oyster Dome, most of which remained shrouded in low clouds until later in the day as we drove past it on the way home! A great hike up the 2000 foot mountain, even on a cloudy day. Aside from a training hike for the legs, it was also a useful training hike for putting together a GoPro story. Happy with pretty much everything except forgetting to get a shot of the sign at the bottom of the trail.

Finally catching up on the blog. Love the Gopro work, especially on that rocky bluff! Kinda scary.
